I’ve always been drawn to three things: nature, creativity and people.
Growing up in Tasmania with three sisters, I was surrounded by music, wild landscapes and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Some of my happiest memories are by the ocean, rivers and beaches, places that have always helped me feel grounded, inspired and connected.
Music became part of my life from the age of six through an incredible local music community that nurtured my love of performing, teaching and bringing people together. Alongside music, I’ve always been a creative person, later spending four years studying at the Byron School of Art, where I explored the ways creativity helps us understand ourselves and the world around us.
For more than 30 years I’ve worked as a piano and vocal teacher, choir director and event producer. Throughout that time, one thing has become very clear to me: people thrive when they feel they belong.
My love of the ocean eventually inspired Honey on Water, a project exploring the powerful connection between women, water, movement and wellbeing. It reinforced something I’d always known intuitively - that nature has an extraordinary way of bringing us back to ourselves.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve found myself valuing the company of women more than ever. Becoming the mum of two daughters, I’ve always been surrounded by strong female energy. Today, some of the most meaningful moments in my life come from women gathering together to laugh, create, support one another and simply share life.
WildFem grew from all of these parts of my life.
It’s where my love of nature, creativity, music and genuine human connection come together. My hope is that every woman who comes to a WildFem event leaves feeling lighter, more inspired, more connected and reminded that she belongs.
I’m still growing, still learning and still creating - and I’d love you to be part of the journey.
Wildfem wasn’t created overnight. It’s the culmination of a lifetime spent bringing people together.
Looking back, I’ve realised I’ve always loved creating spaces that feel welcoming, inspiring and full of possibility. As a child in the small coastal town of Weymouth in Tasmania, I instigated transforming an old community shed into a colourful place of hope. We painted messages like Every End is a New Beginning, Peace and Miracles Do Happen, simply because we wanted people who walked into that space to feel lighter than when they arrived.
That desire has stayed with me ever since.
Over the years I’ve created choirs, music communities, creative experiences and, before COVID, founded and led the Lennox Head based ESJA Women’s Collective. Through workshops, events and gatherings, women came together to share their businesses, their talents, their stories and their lives. We explored what it means to live well, looking at all the areas that help us flourish - not just one part of ourselves, but the whole person.
WildFem brings all of those experiences together.
It’s where my love of nature, creativity, music, art and genuine connection meet. It’s a place for women to slow down, reconnect with themselves, discover new friendships, learn something new, laugh, create and remember that they’re not meant to do life alone.
Whether it’s singing together in Sisters of Neon, sharing stories over a beautiful meal, spending time by the ocean, exploring creativity, or attending one of our immersive experiences, every WildFem event is designed with the same intention:
To create spaces where women feel welcomed, inspired, supported and deeply connected.
Because when women come together with openness and authenticity, something extraordinary happens.
They don’t just attend an event.
They leave feeling more like themselves.
